 A visit
to the
Fearrington Pumpkinfest & Carved Pumpkin display
is a wonderful Halloween tradition!
Editor's note: As of October 1, 2021, we are
waiting to hear back from Fearrington about whether there will be a
pumpkin display this year (2021).
COVID 2020 Update - Statement from
Fearrington: "We’re sad to say that there will be no
pumpkinfest this year. We hope to bring it back in 2021."
https://www.fearrington.com/events/cancelled-pumpkinfest-in-fearrington-village/
A "scaled back" Pumpkinfest takes place this year on
Tuesday,
October 30th and Wednesday, October 31st (2019).
2019 Update/Note: The Fearrington Pumpkin Display is being "scaled back"
to solely a pumpkin walk; the shops will be closed; there won't be a
story time at the book store as in past years; but the restaurants will
be open. Take a stroll at night through
beautiful Fearington village and gardens, marvel at the
intricately-carved pumpkins. It's like a jack-o-lantern
treasure hunt: so much fun to discover the next jack-o-lantern
along the path!
