Jones St., Raleigh, NC  27601.  Enjoy exhibits, food and a free "Natural Horror Picture Show" movie (typically old classics and sci-fi movies ) from 5 - 9 pm every First Friday of the month at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. The North Carolina Renaissance Faire - New Location in 2009 (prior years were at the State Fairgrounds - NEW LOCATION in WAKE FOREST, NC in 2009) 13239 Capital Blvd, Wake Forest, NC  27587 
Bring the whole family and come join in a wonderful "environmental theater" celebration of medieval life and times at the North Carolina Renaissance Faire!  Walk into the gates and enter a medieval or renaissance village and become a part of it for the day.  Meat lords and ladies, knights and maidens, pirates, fairies, or royalty; play games, and enjoy live music, dancing, storytelling, puppetry, magic, sword fighting, and jousting.  (Watch the knights on horseback as the jester gallops alongside on a little pony!)  There is always something new to discover as you step back in time at the North Carolina Renaissance Faire!  Tickets: $12 adults; $6 Kids 5-12; Seniors FREE: Kids under 5 years old FREE.  See the North Carolina Renaissance Faire website for more information.
