Large, Estate Lots surrounded by beautiful,
Protected Natural Areas: Developed in 2000 - 2004, Creekwood is surrounded
by protected natural areas. The gorgeous, large, estate size lots range from one
to two acres; spacious and lush, yet still neighborly, with sidewalks throughout
the neighborhood for running, walking, and biking. The Creekwood neighborhood
features beautiful stone walls, sidewalks and wide streets, beautiful classic
street lamps, and a large park / common area that backs up to the
Stoneridge Tennis Courts and Swimming Pool.
(The hills behind the tennis courts are excellent for neighborhood sledding!)
Schools: When Creekwood was first
developed, we learned that some of the homes were in the Chapel Hill Schools
district, and others were in the Orange County school district. As of 2012, it
is possible that this has changed; our research shows Morris Grove as the
elementary school for Creekwood, with Smith as the middle school and East Chapel
Hill highschool. If the specific school system is important to you, we recommend
double-checking which schools are zoned for a specific property/address in
Creekwood.
When you spend time at a Creekwood home, it feels
like you are in a natural paradise! Our friends who live in Creekwood spend a
lot of time relaxing outside, and they have beautiful hiking trails surrounding
their gardens. One of the loveliest settings we have seen in Chapel Hill; so
peaceful and serene.
